LearnersWhat is the English At Large Citizenship Class?This 12-week class is designed for adults who are interested in becoming a US citizen or learning more about US history and government. Topics covered include the citizenship process, famous people and places in American history, US geography, US government and how to become a better citizen. Who can participate?All adults are welcome to attend, regardless of their citizenship eligibility. Even people who have already attained citizenship but would still like to learn more about US history and government are welcome. How much do they cost?Our Citizenship Class are free. Learners are not required to pay any money to attend them. If a participant finds the Citizenship Class very useful, English At Large is always willing to accept a donation of money (large or small). Where and when do they take place?Thursdays, 7:15 - 8:45 PM, Reading Public Library (Jan 26 - April 19) - FULL!
