Light refreshments will be served at 6:00PM

* This Workshop is sponsored by Region 4 Volunteer Network. *

NEW – Basic financial literacy open to both learners and volunteers.

This simplified-English workshop will explore checking account types, the documents needed to open an account, and how to balance a checkbook. Presenters will also discuss how to qualify for a mortgage.

Bring your learner, or come on your own and get ideas for discussing finances and mortgages with your learner.

Middlesex Savings Bank, a supporter of English At Large, is sponsoring the workshop. Presenters include Middlesex staff, including long-time English At Large volunteer Fran Simeone. A tutor herself, Fran understands both learner and tutor needs.

Date: Wednesday, April 30
