Volunteers are needed

English At Large has approximately 250 learners waiting to be matched with adult tutors. We need volunteers to teach English to immigrants in a one-on-one setting. As an English At Large volunteer, you will receive ongoing support from staff and access to in-service opportunities.

To become an English tutor, you will need to attend both an orientation and our 15-hour training workshop. During the training, volunteers will receive instructional materials.
