LearnersWhat is the English At Large Basic English Class?This free class is for adults who want to learn English. It is a beginner level class. Topics include: asking for directions, talking to doctors, looking for a job, shopping with confidence, reading bank statements, using the library, talking with family members, reading a report card and learning about US History. Who can participate?This is a class for beginners. How much do they cost?Our Basic English Classes are free. Learners are not required to pay any money to attend them. If a participant finds the Basic English Class very useful, English At Large is always willing to accept a donation of money (large or small). Where and when do they take place?We will be offering new classes which start in February 2012.
